Tree Surgery Abingdon
Today we were doing tree surgery in Abingdon, we re-pollarding a Willow tree.

Why did this tree surgery need doing?
We first looked at this tree in the summer when we were taking down a Birch that was dangerous. We didn’t do the work then for the following reasons:
Firstly, the Willow shouldn’t be pollarded in high summer, although this type of tree is very resilient, doing this will cause it damage.
And secondly, there was a pigeon nesting and so by law we re not allowed to undertake work when this is happening.
